Texas man arrested for kidnapping and sexually assaulting 12-year-old girl in hotel

GALVESTON, Texas – A 27-year-old Dallas man is facing multiple felony charges after authorities rescued a missing 12-year-old girl from a Galveston hotel room, police said.

Graham Dunn was charged with aggravated kidnapping involving sexual assault and two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child. He was apprehended at the Galveston Beach Hotel following a missing person report.

Investigators believe Dunn lured the victim through social media. The girl was first reported missing after she went to walk her dog and the animal returned home alone.

Authorities located the pair by tracking emergency signals from the girl's phone and reviewing hotel surveillance footage. Officers were forced to breach the hotel room door after Dunn refused to cooperate with police.
